Luz
I’m a certified Open Floor Conscious Dance facilitator, a ceremonial cacao practitioner, a British Wheel of Yoga teacher, and a sound healing explorer.
Originally from the north of Brazil and now based in London, I hold spaces for movement, ceremony, and inner transformation. My path has always been guided by a deep love for embodied practices — ways of coming home to ourselves through dance, breath, ritual, sound, and presence.

I grew up in the north of Brazil, in Rondônia — a region that, until the 1970s, was still covered in forest and home to Indigenous communities. When I was eight, my father opened the first nightclub in our small town. It quickly became a lively community hub, and I was surrounded by music, rhythm, and dance from an early age. As a child and teenager, I explored ballet, contemporary, and other dance forms — movement was always in my bones.
In my early twenties, I travelled to India and discovered yoga and meditation. I fell in love with these practices, which brought a new kind of awareness and inner stillness into my life. I’ve been practising ever since and am a trained British Wheel of Yoga teacher and massage therapist.
In my late twenties, while dancing salsa in Rio de Janeiro, I met my British husband. Life led me to London, where we now live with our two sons.
Over a decade ago, I was introduced to conscious dance — and it felt like coming home. I was immediately drawn to its power to heal, awaken, and transform. Week after week, I danced, and slowly but surely, my life began to shift. This deep connection led me to train with Open Floor International and become a conscious dance facilitator.
Around the same time, cacao also re-entered my life. Years earlier, my father and I had started a small cacao plantation in Brazil. That seed grew into a calling: I began studying ceremonial cacao and eventually became a cacao guide. Today, I hold spaces where conscious movement and cacao ceremony meet — two powerful medicines that open hearts, release what no longer serves, and invite deep presence.
In recent years, I’ve also been exploring the world of sound healing. I've done training, gathered instruments, and most importantly — I’ve been finding my voice. Bringing sound into my offerings has opened another layer of expression, intuition, and connection, deepening the ceremonial and healing potential of the spaces I hold.
It’s my joy to share these practices with others — and to keep learning, listening, and dancing along the way.
I would love to welcome you onto the dance floor.
