🌿Women's Garden Sessions🌿
Although each session varies depending on what the space is calling for, you will find yourself arriving in a warm and friendly atmosphere, where connection, self-expression, and support flow freely.
Our group sizes are small and intimate. We’ll begin landing in our bodies with a warm-up sometimes with music, other times lying down with a sound bath to settle in. As a DJ, I then guide you through musical and verbal invitations to explore and awaken your authentic movement.
As the energy shifts moving between slower, more spacious moments and more dynamic ones - you are invited to follow your own internal rhythm and pace, honouring your needs in each moment.
The dance is intuitive and you are always welcome to pause, sit or lie down whenever needed. At times, I may weave in breathwork, soundhealing, or poetry, depending on the session.
We close by settling into stillness and gathering in a closing circle.
On Tuesday evenings, we end with a 20-minute soundbath,, so you can leave feeling deeply relaxed and ready for a restful sleep.
On Thursdays, we extend the dance with tea, fruit, and a longer sharing time.
Practicals:
You are welcome to dance barefoot or bring a pair of dancing shoes/trainers. If you enjoy writing, drawing or making notes, feel free to bring a notebook and pens and pencils.
I look forward to welcoming you into the space and dancing with you soon!

What is Open Floor?
The body is our anchor and the music, the space and each other a support in our unique exploration. Although Open Floor is a free form movement practice, it offers gentle guidance to help we become more present in our bodies and to allow the movements that naturally arise to find expression.
The resources we explore in Open Floor dance practice are tools we can carry with us - Helping us ground ourselves and become more present not just on the dance floor, but in our everyday lives.
- Elements & nature
(in my garden studio sessions we will pay particular attention to what is happening seasonally and cyclically outside, connecting to nature and the elements as well as in our bodies).
